   Eric Lutz was one of the first drivers to make the high side work in Saturday’s Hard Core Speed Shop 360 Sprint Car feature at I-90 Speedway.  He used it to generate enough momentum to get within striking distance of front row starter Justin Glaser.  Glaser led the first 18 laps before Lutz, a fourth-row starter, jetted past him coming out of the second turn.  However, a Dylan Peterson spin brought out the caution right before Lutz was able to take the checkered flag.  Lutz then held off Glaser and Ryan Bickett during the green/white/checker finish.  “My dad did some tweaking on the fuel system and it’s a monster now,” said Lutz after the win.  Lutz’s win was his first at I-90 Speedway in close to three years.
   The race provided a lot of excitement after Glaser jumped out to a nice lead.  John Lambertz, an ace at running the bottom line at I-90, took the lead from Glaser for just a moment before Lutz, Bickett and Dusty Ballenger began to flex their muscle running the high side.  Glaser finished second while Bickett gained seven spots to finish third.  Ballenger came from the seventh row to finish fourth.
   Kipp De Groot credited his crew and a new set of springs for his Express Copy and Printing Late Model Street Stock win.  De Groot took the lead from Billy Prouty on the 11th lap.  Soon after, he had his hands full with Craig Hanisch.  But De Groot found running the bottom worked better than Hanisch’s try at the high side.  “I’ve always been comfortable running on the bottom,” De Groot said.  Prouty led early and again during laps 6-10 after reinheriting the lead from Gary Brown Jr., as mechinical problems sent him to the pits.  Prouty finished third behind Hanisch.
   “I guess the 13 isn’t a bad number,” exclaimed Miah Christensen after the USRA B-Modified feature.  Christensen, running the number 13m as a provisional driver for Marty Myers, got around Dennis Martin six laps into the 15 lap A-Main.  Christensen said he was happy to fill in for Myers during his National Guard stint.  He came from the ninth starting position.  Dan Wheeler nearly stole the headlines though.  Wheeler had to go through the B-Main which he won handily.  After starting 16th in the feature, Wheeler worked his way to the front and was a real threat to Christensen.  Wheeler passed Martin on the final lap to score a very impressive second.  Martin crossed third followed by Dustin Kruse and Tyler Tesch.
   Tim Waltner led the final 10 laps of the Hobby Stock feature, taking the lead from Logan Fitzpatrick.  Mike Chaney and Zach Olivier ran strong races but Waltner’s number 79 was too quick for either of them to catch.  They had their chances after an accident involving Derek Gramstad and Paul Hartley yellow-flagged the race with four laps to go.  Waltner’s win was the 26th of his career at I-90 Speedway – all in a Hobby Stock.
   Josh Lien celebrated his first career win at I-90 Speedway by leading all 10 laps of the Fast Auto Wash Super Chargers A-Main.  “I’ve been waiting for that for a long time,” said Lien.  “Keith (Johnson) usually works on the car and I couldn’t do it without him.”  Laura Ebbesen made the race close after closing a large gap between the leader.  Ebbesen, the defending track champion, took second.
   The 360 Masters Classic for drivers 50 and over is next Saturday night (June 22).  Randy Droescher of Larchwood, Iowa, won the inaugural event last summer.
