Jacobsma tops Dover by 0.088 for I-90 Speedway MSTS Win

In dramatic style, Justin Jacobsma would take the win in Saturday’s Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series feature. Jack Dover took a back-row challenge from Cressman Sanitation and placed second. In a true act for sportsmanship, Johnn Cressman paid Jack Dover for the challenge for his efforts of going 24th to 2nd.

“He’s a hell of a driver,” said Jacobsma on Dover.

At the line, Derrik Lusk was third, Ryan Bickett charged from 20th to fourth and Nick Haygood placed in the top five.

The win is the second for Jacobsma with MSTS and second at I-90 Speedway.

In the Cressman Sanitation IMCA Sprint Cars, Jared Jansen took the lead of the feature on lap nine and piloted the #81 to his first win of 2020. Jansen started outside row 10. Dusty Ballenger raced from row five to place second ahead of Nate Barger who raced from row nine to third. Trevor Serbus led the opening eight laps and finished fourth with Javen Osterman completing the top five.

Zach Olivier laid it down in the T&R Contracting Late Model Street Stocks – taking the win by four seconds. It was his second win of the year. Cory Yeigh was second with Matt Steuerwald in third. Tim Dann and Brian Hoing were in the top five.

An exciting Great Western Bank USRA B-Modified feature had the #27 of Tyler Myers taking his first career I-90 Speedway in from seventh on the starting grid. Brock Hess went +10 to take second with Camden Myers third. Ray Feltman and Justin Voeltz completed the top five.

The LawnSnow.Com Hobby Stocks put on a show in their main event. Dustin Gulbrandson made a last lap pass on Tyler Schlumbohm to get the victory. Those drivers both started in row 6. Tom Kracht, Tracy Halouska and Levi VanderWeide.

Next Saturday is Hartford night at I-90 Speedway – Hartford and Humboldt residents get into the grandstands for free.
