Krohn and Kruse Charge Through the Field for USRA Victories at I-90 Speedway
HARTFORD, S.D. (June 6, 2026) — Kids Night brought plenty of excitement to the I-90 Speedway on Saturday night as fans packed the grandstands to enjoy an action-packed evening of racing. Two premier United States Racing Association divisions took center stage with the QuickCar Racing Products USRA Hobby Stocks and PEM Racing Gears & Drivetrain USRA B-Mods delivering thrilling feature events.
The USRA Hobby Stocks were the first division to hit the speedway, and it didn't take long for fans to witness an impressive charge through the field. Starting 12th on the grid, Landon Krohn sliced his way through traffic and powered into victory lane after an outstanding performance against a talented field of competitors.
Logan Fitzpatrick advanced from fifth to finish second while Tyler Schlumbohm put together a strong run from 10th to claim third. Josef Zahn also gained seven positions, driving from 11th to fourth, while Travis Dann completed the top five finishers.
The night concluded with the PEM Racing Gears & Drivetrain USRA B-Mods, and fans were treated to another impressive display of passing. Dustin Kruse started deep in the field but methodically worked his way to the front, driving from the 10th starting position to capture the feature victory.
Wade Wright crossed the line in second, while Brock Hess made a strong charge from ninth to finish third. Tyler Tesch recorded a fourth-place finish, and Justin Voeltz rounded out the top five after advancing from the 12th starting position.
The exciting night of racing showcased the depth of talent in both USRA divisions, with several drivers making significant gains from their starting positions to contend for top finishes.
Up next for the I-90 Speedway will be RPM Racing Series Weekly Racing on Saturday, June 13, in Hartford, South Dakota. Fans are encouraged to follow the speedway's Facebook page for the latest updates, schedules, and event information.
