This Saturday night AUGUST 23rd get ready for high-octane excitement at I-90 Speedway in Hartford, SD! The RPM Racing Series brings you thrilling dirt track racing, featuring the Spielman Excavating IMCA Sprint Cars, USRA B-Modifieds, and Lawn & Snow USRA Hobby Stocks.
But that's not all! The always-popular 49th Street Liquor Late Model Street Stocks are back with their adrenaline-pumping PIT STOP CHALLENGE RACE! Witness the incredible speed and precision as teams battle it out, changing tires and vying for victory lane. It's a race within a race you won't want to miss!
With just two races remaining on the schedule, every point counts! See who rises to the challenge and takes another step towards the championship title.

Here are the Rules:
Pit Stop Challenge Race 2025
To Qualify: Racers will draw for their heat race lineup at the back gate when checking in for the night. Top qualifying cars will redraw for feature race lineup. Must be in the top 20 in points to qualify for pitstop challenge bonus money.
Each driver will be allowed three crew members, one standard floor jack, electric impact and two spare wheels and tires (no spare or cheater lug nuts allowed).
The Pit Stop Challenge event will run as follows:
• The cars will be lined up according to the draw at the back gate for the heat race.
• Top qualifying cars will redraw for feature lineup.
• Feature race- cars will race 8 laps to determine their designated pit spots against the inside wall and will be lined up against the wall. After the checkered flag is thrown, the pace truck will pull out onto the speedway and the cars will be lined up behind the pace truck in order they finished the race and stop on the back straight away. They will follow the pace truck to the front stretch and each car will back into their designated pit spot.
• The driver will be buckled in and ready to race.
• The three crew members will be standing behind a designated line with their tires and equipment. All cars must remain shut off during the pit stop.
• At the command, crew members will:
o Add 5 gallons of fuel: it MUST ALL GO IN THE TANK or you will start in the back.
o All Lug Nuts must be tight at the beginning of the pit stop
o Only allowed to jack up one tire at a time.
o Remove right front tire and replace it with a spare, then remove the left front and replace it with a spare.
• As soon as the car is off the jack, the driver should start the car and proceed out of the pit stall and to the line up area.
• Each lug nut on the car will be checked by a track official to make sure they are tight. If the lug nuts are loose, his car will proceed back to the pit stall to be fixed.
• The starting line-up will be determined by how each car exits past the designated line leaving the pit area.
• The winner of the pit-stop will have first choice to line up either inside or outside of first row. The rest of the field falls in accordingly. Double file start.
• The cars will be held up until all crews and cars have exited the pit spots. A parade lap will be completed and then the green flag will drop.
• These cars will race for 12 laps to checkered flag.
