Thompson scores back-to-back top-fives in Rapid, I-90 weekend
Cody Thompson's 2026 campaign has been more than consistent, completing another stat-worthy weekend with back-to-back top-five performances at Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa, and I-90 Speedway in Hartford, South Dakota, respectively. Thompson, who is still hunting his first triumph of season, finished fifth in each of the aforementioned top-fives, bumping his season total to six including one podium - a runner-up performance at Park Jefferson International Speedway on April 24.
